2013 Ram 3500 grid heater light

How did we go from asking about a grid heater light to digging a three foot hole to drain or fill fuel filter:h

LOL. All you need to do is bump the starter and wait 25 seconds. The pump will run and fill the filter housing. Crank and go.

You have to jack up the rear of the truck about 4 feet so the fuel runs towards the front and fills the filter. Or you can dig a 4 foot hole in front of the front tires and drop them in...

What do you do on the new Rams/Cummins after changing filters?????

On my 2011 Ford 6.7L diesel, all I do is cycle the key several times (without starting) and it primes everything.

How about the newer Rams?????

Like how to cycle the transfer pump to prime the fuel system after changing the fuel filter....

It comes in handy at times, I've learned some good stuff from reading it...I didn't know I had two settings for my EB, I noticed one time the EB icon was orange (normal setting), hit it twice, turned green, that's the "smart brake" setting, more for cruise control from what I read in the Owners Manual when I had no clue why it would turn orange, then green...yeah, owners manual will tell you things that may come in handy to know one day.....

Yes, the 2013 has a grid heater lighted icon, it's located in the dash cluster along the bottom, to the left a little....doesn't seem to stay on very long......
