I also seen a picture of a '10-'12 DRW RAM back to back with a '13 DRW RAM and the '13 was clearly taller when comparing the tailgate heights. One strategy sometimes is to put a taller block between the springs and the axle to allow for more compression of the springs to increase load carrying capability.
Again not punching holes NC, but just making a visual observation based on very limited information. :W
