2013 RAM HDs driven/tested

Kind of hard to spot less than an inch, but I have Ricks and a 2012 owner both tell me that their trucks from the ground to top of tailgate is 58.5"...mine is "right at" 57.75" from the ground to the top of the tailgate. I do know how to use a straight edge and a tape measure and have taken the measurement more than several times, so I'm pretty sure my measurement is within an 1/4" worse case....I'm getting ready to get me a Reese Elite drop in ball. It fit's perfectly in the center hole in my truck and am probably going to go with the Anderson Ultimate 5th wheel hitch...still don't need to do anything for about a month, but this would keep my truck bed clean and it's not a big deal putting it all in the bed of the truck and getting it out...If I go this route, will hook up and see what kind of drop I have...you would think with the beefed up frame, suspension, axle and front end, and upping the GVWR to 14,000#, I wouldn't expect much drop, but will know before too long.
