I had the locking hubs years ago on my 76 F250. Worked great until you were stuck in 2WD somewhere :E Guess if I had known I was going to get stuck I would have stopped and locked them. Young and dumb I guess. Personally at my age and location it's really nice in January to just flip the switch and keep moving up the mountain. I won't even mention chains
