Got to drive several '13 RAMs today including the 2500 and 3500 DRW series. The dealer had at least (6) 3500 DRW including one with the Long Horn package (Pumkin colored seats) and a bunch of 2500's. Surprisingly all of the 3500's had the 68RE auto and not a single aison auto on the 3500's.
The seat of my pant's power for the 2500's felt like the '12 a test drove last year or like my 05 Super Duty 6.0 psd and the 3500 Long Horn felt a little more sluggish than the 2500 probably due to the extra weight.
The flip door fuel port has to change as the rubber seal around the perimeter is very cheap with debris collected in several trucks I inspected. Also the DEF fuel port is very small so I wonder if the standard DEF fill nozzles at the truck stops will fit.
Rear leaf springs on the 2500 has a 4 leaf setup (1 more than my F250) and the 3500 springs appear identical to the '12. The 2500 has a VERY STIFF ride like the '12 so no ride improvement that I could tell.
The first '13 truck I went to look at was a customer's truck that was back at the shop for a new turbo and I noticed the front fender well was removed exposing the turbo so I took a picture of the turbo.
Below are a couple of pictures of the 3500 DRW spring pack and the 2500 Cummins in for a turbo repair.
Enjoy... :B
