That's just it, you WEREN'T thinking....you go out of your way to come on to just about ANY thread dealing with the new 2013 Ram's and commence to doing everything within your power to put the truck down...YOU ARE the ONLY one I've seen spend INORDINATE amounts of time trying to find any thing to be derogatory about a Dodge/Ram.....I mean, you must have no life but to live to go onto a Dodge/Ram thread and have everyone turn against you that is a Ram owner because of your antagonistic post.....
Go over to the Cummins forum, join up, post some threads but put in your signature what you own....
There are quite a few certified Diesel mechanics over there also, some are master mechanics with diesel engines and will enlighten you with some of their experiences with the other diesel brands...
I really don't get it, you seemed like a nice guy, but I got to admit, seeing you go out of your way to post negative post after negative post on a Dodge/Ram truck has me wondering if you don't have anything else to do...I guess at least you picked the one that sells less than any other of the big three and again, finished 3rd. in a race of three...BRAVO.
So Ram finally steps up to the plate trying to compete with the other two and you spend the rest of your life trying to tear it down....sad, very sad.......how about a Yugo???
Oh, and you can alway's block my post if you don't want to read them, or NOT forget something I said, and unlike you, I've not said anything bad about the Chevy or the Ford...
keep up your great research, it'll keep you busy evidently oh.....:R.....back at ya.
Jim,
Not sure why you attact someone when you disagree...:h I kind of enjoyed looking and driving the new trucks. I posted my opinions about the power of these trucks (by the seat of my pants), kicked the tires and reported things others have not reported here. Yes I had some dislikes (the fuel port and DEF port to name one) but there are other attributes that are very nice (seats are very comfortable including both cloth and leather seats). I also tried to get a picture of the new fuel filter setup and to my surprise the 3500 DRW 2wd truck had a protective panel with a door which I suppose was the access port to to fuel filter which I thought was a very good job of protecting the plastic fuel filter housing. We've seen one Ford that a rock busted the plastic filter housing and left the guy stranded.
If you don't like what I report feel free to add me to your block list.
And again I enjoyed kicking the tires and talking to a couple of Cummins/RAM techs about there strengths/weaknesses and the RAM trucks as a hole. It was much better and informative than what you get on a internet forum. :W
