If reduced revs is what he wants I agree. I gasser is gonna rev. However if increased towing performance is what the OP wants they will be a noticeable improvement with new gears, not as dramatic as your 4.30 gears but a significant improvement just the same.
Is it worth it? If the OP is unhappy with the current tow performance and If the truck is used to tow regularly and is a long term keeper than probably so.
