We are looking at purchasing a SRW 3500 2015 3500HD Silverado to pull a large 5th wheel and are trying to get some idea from folks that "ahve been there, done that" with a similar truck. It is hard to get an idea of the actual loaded weight before purchase and loading everything in, but I am trying to get a sense of what is realistic. The RV we are considering has a dry hitch of about 2300 lbs. Theoroetically, the truck has around 4100 lbs to stay within the RAWR. I figure that the truck really weighs at least 500 lbs more than they say on the Chevy site, but want to confirm to the best of our ability before we sign on the dotted line... Thanks!
