I had a 2012 Ford F-150 with 3.7 litre v6 ext cab and just recently purchased my Ford crew cab 5.0 litre. I would go with the 8 or Eco. Never can have too much engine. The six will work. Really work. My 8 laughs at my TT. Just my thoughts.
