Now Ford has a 2.7L Ecoboost for the 2015 F-150. My boss wants a new F-150. I am trying to talk him into the new 2015 because of the higher MPG of the new models.
The 2.7L Ecoboost compares very positive to the 3.5L, as the truck is lighter, the MPG is higher, and fuel cost per year goes down from $3,300 in the 5 liter or 3.5L Ecoboost to only $2,600 in the 2.7L Ecoboost! And the 2.7L is only a $750 option, while the 3.5L is a $1735 option! So overall the 2015 2.7L truck will be a lower total cost than the 3.5L 2014.
Have fun shopping!
