I have changed my process for selecting vehicles. At one time it had to be a certain brand.
Now that I'm old and grey the most important value of any vehicle is...is it comfortable. Comfortable to sit in, quiet....am I relaxed and not beat up after an all day drive.
Given that probably all the new GM, Ford and Dodge pickups will handle towing jobs quite easily....I think that either an F 250 or Dodge (Ram I suppose now) 2500 will tow your 26 foot trailer well.
So....resolve your choice by taking both the F 250 and the 2500 out for a ride. If all other things are equal between the two...then choose the truck you like most.
