2014 GM Truck Info

I hate 4 door pickups and short beds. I'm going to buy a MH and a Toyota pickup. I'm not happy with Chevy anyway, what a maintainence nightmare. Cheap hoses, connectors, electrical glitches and Chevy won't pay for warranty work.

Take a look at the incentives on the extended cabs offered today. They are throwing money at the extended cabs to move them.

The "no extended cab" has to be a temporary thing.

It wouldn't be the first time that GM had a "staggered" platform release.

JMHO - but the extended cab is the most versatile 4x4 model ... Std Cab has no room inside and the dual-cab is too long, unless it has the very-short bed on it, which means no TC's will fit (not a lot care about that, of course, except us TC guys)

But, that dual-cab only option will surely bum out the Monkey if this one ever takes a dive on me.

Seems odd to drop a line like that - but I remember when Gm dumped the Safari van line too, which I thought was their best van.

The new bodys of the 2014 suburbans, tahoes, yukons,and Yukon xl, will be out soon after the trucks. They have been working on them as long as the pickups. GM sells huge amounts of these large SUVs so they know getting these babys out asap will make for good profits. Im sure the 2500 will follow the halfs just like the trucks.

When are the SUVs redesign? MY14? MY15? I have not heard much about them. 3/4 Ton Burb is listed in the commercial/fleet ordering guide.

I suspect the MY14 HD pickups is a short year.

The Suburban has been around for like 50 years, thus I see no good reason to X this vehicle.
As GM has been behind in their development of the ENTIRE truck line, they are now in a catch up mode compared to Ford and Dodge.
Thus there info on up coming vehicle for 2013, is now 2014, hoping you will WAIT for them on you purchase of a Ford or Dodge TV.

I also hear the regular cab truck will not be offered starting in 2017, if that matters to anyone other than the business sector.

I believe 2014 Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon/XL is a whole new release so they keep it secret for the next few months.

I am sure there will be 2500 Suburban.
