My truck and trailer are listed in my sig - my 2009 Silverado has the 5.3 with 3.73 axles, but it is a four speed, where the 2014s are sixes, and the engines rate at a bit more horsepower. My trailer gross weight is about the same as what yours. We are usually loaded down when we leave - no I haven't put it on a scales - but we do fine with no issues, traffic holdups or funny handling. My 2 cents is that if you have a properly set up hitch and don't expect (or try) to drive at 200mph over the Rockies, you will be fine.
