I had a 6.2 in my 2012 1500 that I stumbled upon on the lot. In 2 years I havn't seen another one. I now have a 2013 HD 6.0. As expected, the HD is a better towing expierience. The 6.0 however, falls short. Not that it isn't adequate, it's just I was spoiled with the 6.2. Towing the same trailer the 6.2 w/3.42s would run in 5th gear and occasionally drop to 4th on big hills. The HD 6.0 w/3.73s spends more time in 4th than it does in 5th. With the 6.2, I could keep the cruise on going up hills. Something I can't do with the 6.0. The 6.0 also gets 2-3 mpg less than the 6.2 did when not towing.
