2014 Kodiak 172e questions
I have one and the rear bunk is difficult to close. Basically what I have noticed is when you take out the shepherds pole and drop the bow, the bow sits down too low in the crease where the hinge is....

By crease I mean down where the hinge is
So basically I remove the shepherds pole
Then pull up the mattress
Then am supposed to fold the bow down flush with the bunk platform
Then close the bunk
The top of the bow is now pointing down towards the hinge
When I close it the bow gets "pinched in the hinge and makes it hard to close
On the kodiak, if I fold the bow over the mattress the two connections of the bow to the platform, the pressure makes the bow pop out of that connection.
The bow is made to pop in and out easily. Its not secured with a screw or anything similar. Its like a little ball that pops into a female receptacle.
Any thoughts??
