I have no use for calculated guesstamates or labled statistics.
by using a killiWatt meter your answer is using the actual votage... i.e, 118.2 VAC instead oe the nominal 110VAC will be used as the multiplier
You get the true Amp draw... again accuracy.
....and then you get the actual wattage draw over time.
The killiwatt meter will give you the usage over time also... important as we set up or PVSolar systems, batteries and inverters.
Even the electric company has watt meters... they make use true variables.
It is important to me to know the true wattage to make sure my inverter will handle it... that my batteries are sufficiant.
And I want to observe start up and run conditions.
BTW... most of the members of the TC forum have multimeters and know the math.... they are a bunch of very smart folks.
