I'd like to point out that One of the most serious restrictions for boondocking is the availability of water. We can only haul so much. Water is primarily needed for hygene... hand washing, "navy" baths and commode flushing. We haul bottled water for consumption.
One of the reasons that we don't use the stove top is that we'd have to cook in skillets and pots and pans... they have to be washed....
We do use aluminum foil... and broil our food for health reasons... to avoid grease.... and at the end of the meal we crunch up the foil and dispose of it. No wash, minimum size waste.
Add the electric convection oven's benifits to the microwaves and we extend our boondocking capabilities.
It took me 11 years to do what I should have done the first year,,, get rid of the useless propane stove...
I think that I mentioned that I gave it to Suds54.... brand new, unused... he drove down from upstate New York and picked it up.
