So why are you over inflating you tires. My 15 3500 Laramie diesel 4x4 only calls for 60 in front tires at full rated load. What does your door jam sticker say? With the lighter rear axle rating I doubt it calls for 80 lbs.
Over inflation decreases traction, decreases braking and leads to impact damage.

You're right, just checked the door sticker. Didn't realize that the front and rears were different. They were all 80 when I got it and my dealer always airs them to 80. I tried lowering them all once to improve the ride but the TPMS would set off at anything less than 65psi so I put them back to 80. Haven't noticed any negative effects other than the rougher ride. Going to drop just the fronts back to 60psi and see what happens.
