I have had my Ram 3500 MegaDually CTD/Aisin 3.73 4WD for 7 months now. Mostly in town driving for now. Just put the winter front on. It really does send heat out fairly quickly. I plug mine in when I get home from work. I have it on a timer, if it's fairly cold, it will come on for 2 hrs then 11/2 hrs before I leave for work, it comes on again. Makes it easy to start, and only having he block heater on for limited time saves the wallet some. I'm only at work for 8 1/2 hours and no difficulties starting at 0* after that time. The steering wheel heater gets VERY warm, generally have to turn it off after a while. I have the Uconnect and I have started it with my phone right before I leave my shop at work and the heater is already blowing warm air by the time I get there. The idle up feature is pretty cool. Hit the CC, then Set/- and it will go to high idle @1000 RPM, hit he EB and it will warm up faster. Hit the CC + button and you can raise the RPM even more.
So far, it has handled the couple of inches of snow that we had he other day very well. We're expecting a couple of feet tonight. Work called, my shift is canceled. I was gonna take the wife's H2 in. Have some fun on the way home. Now, I think I'll just go back to bed. Get up in a while and run the snowblower. Yawn
