No slider needed with that contoured front end cap. Yes, it can contact at full 90 degree turns but you remember that and don't turn that hard. No different than remembering not to jackknife a travel trailer. If you go to far it will hit. Just don't go to far. As for a hitch, it depends if you don't mind having rails in your bed. For a clean bed floor go with a Reese Elite. If you don't mind having the rails in the bed, Curt makes a nice value hitch.
Now, if you are really worried about needing a slider, I'd go with the Reese Revolution pinbox instead. It moves your pivot point back 18" and you can go in circles all day without hitting the cab. Again, not really necessary but some people like the piece of mind it adds.
