Why? I love my 13', it's an awesome truck:B - zoggExplorerSorta wish I would not have bought my 2013 2500 last Friday!
- Bionic_ManExploreritguy, do you have a google search set up so you can badmouth all posts that discuss RAM? Sure seems that way.

I think it says something, that with the mega cab 2500, and the right engine, you jet just 90 pounds more payload than an Expidetion. (1670 vs 1580)
That configuration is a heavy truck. 8,331 lbs with GVWR of 10,000 lbs.
Still short (gas) to quite a bit short (Diesel) of the F250....
The F250 comes in a Mega Cab ???
Why would I want a bigger cab and less of a bed? Rather have more of a bed. And with less capability than the competition too. - bmanningExplorer

I've pretty much decided that my next truck is going to be a loaded 2014 Ram 2500, 6.4L Hemi, with rear air suspension (which I read will be "late availability" of 2014 2500s).
That's my thoughts as well. I average only 7K miles a year and have the short drive to work. Even with the loaded Longhorn, the 6.4L Hemi can tow 15,690lbs with the 4.10 gear.
A Longhorn with the 4.10 is exactly what's on my radar; my F250 is an XLT and not to sound like a Prince here but I miss having leather, power seats, and other assorted bells-and-whistles that I didn't think I'd miss at the time.
Ram makes a really nice truck these days- has for years now actually- but the tipping point for me is 420hp and rear air suspension. That sounds like a truck I'll look forward to driving every day :C bmanning wrote:

I think the world of Cummins but just don't need one, and I do so many short trips in town a diesel just doesn't make sense. - NC_HaulerExplorer2014 3500 DRW trucks specs are the same as 13', as far as GVWR, GCWR, FAWR and RAWR go...appears the 6.4 Hemi with 4:10 still has a much lower GCWR as same configured truck with the Cummins.
