I would not give up the affects of salt spray if it meant staying off the beach. no way ;)
My 2015 fan sounded like it had crickets in it. quick call resulted in a new fan being sent. Paper work said "warranty return shipping sent to (wrong email address listed). I called them back, waited on hold for 20 minutes again, gave them correct address, but still never received the paperwork to return the old fan. I guess they don't want it back? (but it really does squeak pretty bad).
