With that type of travel, personal opinion only, which comes from doing what your about to try, it will not work out well 90% of the time. Wind will make it so you just won't travel on those days, but even a calm day the moment you think this is not too bad you will be headed toward the ditch. I could drive 3hrs tops, then have to stop and rest, the constant battle behind the wheel was too much for me.
Again my experiance only but I am sure there are people towing more through the moutains with no trouble at all.
