Most people buying a 150/1500 truck will never come close to hitting their payload numbers. So Ram feels that if the main customer is never going to need the payload then put that cost into the refinement and options.
With the 2500 using coil springs you can still get a GM style ride but will have the payload for towing and hauling.
Need more stability jump into a 3500 SRW or DRW for the real HD towing and hauling. Right tool for the job!
I have said it a hundred times, why would someone pay for a 250/2500 and only get a 150/1500. But as I have also said, it's your cash buy anything you want!
