Not allowing someone to park in my driveway because of the vehicle they drive would just be a dick move and, well, I'm not a dick.
Tell me about it, when the in-laws come over, they have to park their GMs on the street while my family with Fords, are allowed in the driveway. My real name is Richard. :B :B
Come on, it was a statement, get over it. - IndyCampExplorer

Don't fool yourselves, Ford took government money, they just hid it.
Absolutely.
Also, if GM and Chrysler had gone under, the subsequent failing of suppliers would have sunk Ford.
I have owned all three brands and I think the chest bumping and pissing contests are hilarious.
Show me a PERFECT truck made by a PERFECT company and I will gladly fork over my money. No such truck or company exists.

Yep...have been here since June. I saw a 2014 GMC pickup at a country dealership.
It had the 5.3 V8 and you have to be Larry Bird to be able to reach the oil dipstick.
But then the Dodge is just as much of a stretch and the Ford is not too far behind.
My 05 GMC has 397,000 miles on it, and it goes 8,000 miles on a full synthetic oil change, not one ounce low. No need for a dipstick. - wildwest450ExplorerDon't fool yourselves, Ford took government money, they just hid it.

It has everything to do with supporting a company with bad business ethics. Besides myself, I know several, who have been wronged by GM and see they keep treating their customers poorly. I have never seen such poor business ethics and customer service. After experiencing this I don't want any of their vehicles on my property. :) You can park on the street where a GM belongs. :)
I was basically stating my bias upfront as not to bash on this thread. However since I was called out on my bias, I now have to state why.
I don't want this post to stray the thread any further off of it's subject, so let's get back to the thread. Thanks.
BUT let me say I'm very glad that GM came out with the new 2014 truck as it looks very competitive and hopefully it will help push the envelope even further. - Engineer9860ExplorerHow's about a comma: base, LT. Better? :B
Oh, and I wouldn't want to park my GMs in his driveway, I'm afraid I'd cut a tire from something that fell off his Phord. :P - Perrysburg_DodgExplorer

While I admit I'd never allow a GM to park in my driveway
Do tell why you would never "allow a GM to park in your driveway"? Must not have many people come to visit you then? I work for Chrysler had though I would prefer my friends and family to drive Chrysler's I would never tell someone they couldn't park a non Chrysler in my driveway.

all you ford lovers drive a new GM truck and you will be tempted!! oh don't bother they already have a huge fan base that keep coming back. But you never know if u drive one and fall in love with it !! thanks for the positive feedback I am so sick of the bashing due to a bankruptcy that happened 6 years ago. Get over it already !!!!!
The bankruptcy was 4 years ago and as long as the Feds own stock it is not over. - goducks10ExplorerGM's crew cab is the same size. They just moved the B pillar forward for better egress. Then they tilted the rear seat back more upright to give a bigger feel. Same WB as before. Still behind Fords super crew in size.
