I drove by the truck assembly plant in Ft Wayne this week and they had 2 on display out front, but had covers over them.
Your saying they were embarrassed:B
Probably trying to keep jealous Ram owners from vandalizing them. :w - Perrysburg_DodgExplorerMike my Dad worked for GM and I have owned their vehicles and liked them. I have owned Fords and liked them just not their dealer network. Every Ford I owned had some major issue with it, lemon suit on my 90 F-150 XLT Lariat, the replacement truck was traded off with in 6 weeks as the paint came off the hood TWO DAYS after I picked it up!
My 92 ranger sheered a oil pump shaft pin.
My 92 Ford Aerostar had a 3.0 rod knock engine replaced, AC compressor replaced three times along with a hood when the second compressor exploded as I pulled out of the dealership!
Ford built them but their dealers (note plural) either couldn't fix them or wouldn't fix them. Is that Fords fault? Yes they sold them the dealership and have *ways* of making a dealer conform to their franchise rules!
I guarantee you their are people with the same stories for Chrysler, GM, Toyota, Honda ect.....

I'll have to keep a look out for them. I see a lot of truck traffic in my travels for work. I'll pay special attention to the auto transports.
Still Chevy UGLY:B
And yet, still the best looking trucks built. :P - ForestGumpExplorer

You have never owned a Ford diesel, nor do you know anyone who has. Your biased comments about GM could equally be applied to Ford.
I know people who own GMs that had warranty "slipped" by after their vehicles were over on warranty mileage so not everyone has been treated poorly by GM as you are portraying.
Throwing stones at GM for all the issues you mentioned doesn't work without throwing stones at Ford for the same thing, and dare I say, all the other manufacturers as well. - IndyCampExplorerA "statement?"
Not a "joke?"
I stand by my post. :B
