Been doing some measuring myself on the dealer lots. Ford F250 comes in at 55" Chevy 2500HD at 59". Current truck '04 2500HD is 55" and at that height I have 6" of clearance and rig tows dead level.
I would measure your current truck and clearance from top of the bed rails to bottom of fiver and then determine if the new trucks higher bed rails will be an issue. Some have had to have new perch springs welded on the fiver's undercarriage to get the clearance. Your's may have extra hanger holes which would allow you to raise the trailer without addtional welding.
