Jus2shy: I like your point by point break down. Brakes felt the same between the two trucks, and they both have the engine brake option. Are there other major mechanical differences or concerns that may help level the playing field more? Seems that the fuel pump issues are over for Ford, which would have put them out of the running for me in 2011-12. I'm a sucker for power, so I'd need more than just interior styling and ergonomics superiority to seal the deal on the GM products... What quirks are you referring to with the Duramax?
I just figure that all vehicles have their operating quirks. I just didn't research the Duramax all that much during my truck purchase because in my eyes, GM didn't have a compelling argument back in Fall 2013. Their 2015 trucks though seem to have sharpen up quite a bit and if I were in the market today, I would definitely have included them in my research.
