Huntindog: I hear ya, but the logistics of locating a gooseneck equipped truck and getting a dealer to lend it to me would be daunting, and darn near impossible to repeat for the other brands in order to compare.
However, the thought of adaptive ECU programming coming into play has crossed my mind. Power ratings are done under load testing, but not necessarily full load testing. Boost could be dialed back to compensate for EGTs under heavier loads.
