The simple reality is that most problems occur early in the life of any vehicle when the production line can do something wrong. It is why you have a warranty.
The most reliable trucks by far are the ones produced by Toyota but then they do not sell a diesel powered pickup truck in the USA.
If this is such a big deal that you go all to pieces maybe you should not be towing a trailer in the first place.
EVERY brand has their share of problems. No one brand is really better than the others. Toyota has had their share of problems in the past and lately. If one brand WAS so much better as stated above, then they would have almost all of the market share.
I am glad that members on this forum were able to help the man and give some insight to the problem. That is what this forum is for.
