My 2007 RAM 3500 weighs 7800#
I run 55# front (Cummins Engine) all the time
I run 45# rear (non-towing) and 80# (towing 5th wheel......pin weight)

I use Michelin LTX/A2 LT265/70R 17 and get over 60,000 miles per set and I don't rotate tires.

Still rides like a truck..........but not near as BAD if those rear tires are pumped up when unloaded.
