A pretty fair test (video 2). I hope they do the SuperDuty and RamHd soon.

They seem impressed even though specs for power have not changed from 2 years ago. I would say I am impressed too. What a beautiful truck !! I want one.

Sorry for not viewing Troy, short on time. Did I miss something, I thought their 2015 has the same power as the 2011 :H I did see the new baby DMAX over on PUT.com though.

Flat to the floor up that 7 mile long grade (trip said 7.4 miles or something) and no overheating (at least not on the digital imitation gauge). Pretty impressive.

I have a 2006 Duramax and have all the power and torque I need! Give me MPG's and reliability! (I think the Duramax is very reliable!)

The videos didn't really do anything for me.

Cant wait to see the Colorado and canyon diesel trucks and how they perform. Those mid size trucks look pretty big

Heck, hold on to it for a few more years and get an historical plate, LOL

Folks that haven't driven one of these new beautys have no clue as to where tech has lead us in the last few years.
Can't wait for my new one to come in!

Luckily, for my wallet, we can't consider a new truck or I sure woud be looking at a new GMC. I have a 2007 Sierra "Classic" - made in late 2006, just before GM switched to new body style and addition of DPF (along with need for urea). We winter in Mexico, where there is no ultra-low sulpher diesel--which is supposedly required for any engine with a DPF. My truck pulls my 40 ft 5th wheel just fine and also runs great on Mexican diesel.

After I am done trip #1, if all goes as planned, I'll be shopping for the right stuff; The perfect rig, TH & TV... I would love one of those! Gotta get through the learning curve first.

In the video, they mentioned a "new" engine brake for the 2015 HD. Is this true? Is it upgraded from previous GM versions?

I tow 17 to 18000 lbs up and down the same test grade several times a year. Going downhill, I need to lightly touch my brakes every now and than, even with my 2011 EB engaged.

The 2015's are sure nice! My 2012 is paid off and only has 22k, I would love to get into a new one but have other priorities right now.. Maybe a few more years if all goes well.
