It is, someone needs to read their warranty booklet a little closer and not listen to the dealer.
Yes do your own research! My 13 Explorer needed front wheel bearings and they were covered under the Powertrain warranty according to my owners manual. Dealer tried to tell me they weren’t, only the engine and trans. I told them “you may want to do some checking” they called me back in 15 minutes and said, yes they are covered! Always wonder how many people just say “oh OK”?
