- BedlamModeratorMy 2005 Ford F250 sold yesterday. It's a good thing I have room in my drive for a new truck which I picked up Saturday...

Take note the Ram tunes the engines differently for each transmission and there is a different tune on the chassis cabs. The chassis cabs use a 5-link front suspension over the 3-link pickup version.
Other than having 5 more lb-ft of torque over the Ford (and 55 less horsepower), Power folding tow mirrors are the hot feature. Otherwise, same as the previous year. Also, supposed to have late availability for 3500 series air suspension.
Just noticed you were looking at only the chassis cab trucks. Really unsure about the setup, but you're right when it comes to the front suspension. The rear axle though is certainly bigger than the AAM 11.5 axle though, it almost looks like a meritor axle LOL. - BedlamModeratorMaybe something like this?

This will allow me to add a large battery bank and eventually a large triple slide TC. I have no reason to make a lateral move if I were to keep my current setup - My next truck will be a chassis cab so I have upgrade options available that are too heavy for a pickup.

The 2015 trucks are just now arriving at the dealers. If you are going to put that slide in camper in the bed I would strongly recommend you order a 2015 with the rear air suspension. You can now get the 2015 HD trucks with the rear air suspension. If you go with the 2014 you are going to need to add air bags with a slide in camper.
There was a guy on here that was complaining how poorly is 2500 handled with a larger slide in camper and was not happy that he needed to add air bags to his brand new truck. I'll see if I can find out if Ram even recommends the 2500 for use with a slide in camper.

I'm seeing these on dealer lots. Any one already have one at home? Why the 2015 over 2014?
Not yet, but I have the itch for the fresh smell of new leather....looking at gearing and GVW numbers way to much lately. - BedlamModeratorThank you for the link. I should have provided these bellow with my initial question. So does anyone have a 2015 yet?
