- austingtaExplorerSure, but it would require another monitor, which will be included. . Many choices on the web. You can't add it to the factory camera.
- Ralph_CramdenExplorer IIThere is, it just depends how deep your pockets are. You need to already have the towing mirrors. Then you need THIS and mount the wireless camera for the rear of the trailer to the top of the truck cab above the center brake light. Or fork out some more bucks and throw THIS into the mix in addition. You'll also need a flash of the trucks system after installation by a GM dealer for around $150.00. Call it an even $1500.00

oh, but YES you CAN add to the factory camera system and it can be done with a factory system...... IF you have the factory tow mirrors. Now the downside, it isn't inexpensive, but the addition includes a new bottom for the factory tow mirrors for with side view cameras, a rear facing camera for either the back of a trailer or the bed for a 5th wheel and the ability to add yet another camera if you want. I added one to the front license plate. with a 5th wheel you could have a bed camera AND a camera on the back of the trailer.
And the cameras show up on the factory nav screen.
gm dealers have the system. took about 2 hours for me to install it. best price is on ebay with "truck monkey" a GM truck dealer in sandy oregon. - True_temperExplorer

s is what I was looking for, but i am old and don't understand how it works. Will it somehow work on my display screen on dash?
I use this clicky with a monitor bought from Amazon too. I just put the camera at my back window aimed at my hitch. When done I store it until I need it again. Very easy and cheap. - True_temperExplorer

Thanks a bunch giudri, is there any way to blue tooth this to the screen on dash? - micarExplorerI bought a camera on amazon with magnetic feet. It sits on my tonneau cover and sends the image to my phone or iPad via wifi.

The GM system is completely absolutely plug and play NO, repeat NO flashing required NOR is it required to be dealer installed.
I installed it on my 2015 Denali. took me about 2 hours to do the total install. once installed, turned on the truck, everything worked. so, it can easily be done by getting the system from a dealer selling on ebay. Truck monkey in Sandy oregon often has the best price.
and in addition to the CHMSL camera it will also accept other cameras as well, Not needing to see the bed, I mounted a camera on the front license plate forward looking. you get a total of 5 cameras you can view. left side, right side, factory rear camera, trailer camera and one open slot for any other camera you want to mount. In reverse you can select between the factory tailgate camera or the trailer/CHMSL camera. on the display you can display an individual camera or combinations simultaneously. and you can have the left and right cameras come on with the turn signals if desired. or have them stay on. - Ralph_CramdenExplorer II

I did not say it needs to be dealer installed. It's only plug and play if the infotainment and BCM software is updated to or beyond a certain version. With the 15's it depends on the date of manufacture of the truck, or if it had been reflashed prior for another reason to a compatible version. It's a roll of the dice.
Mine was not plug and play. The good thing was the reflash was free under the warranty and also fixed an issue where the infotainment system locked up a few times and the backup camera going wonky once or twice.
How do you like the low beam headlights on your 2015? They have an update that includes new bulbs and increases voltage to them, which makes a hell of a difference. It still does not eliminate the distinct line from light to dark but makes them much brighter. GM does not advertise it, it's in a TSB.
