2015 Silverado 3500 & 19000lbs

Enjoyed the video... In addition the new Chevy did seem to manage more weight than the RAM did with less weight and was rated to tow 30k lbs.

New power train was released in 2011, all new frame, suspension and front end. It was also the first year for the LML Duramax rated at 397HP and 765ft/lbs of torque.

The 2015 has new styling and interior and like I said the power train is carry over from 2011, still the same LML Duramax making the same old 397HP and 765FT/LBS of torque.

The Ram dropped to 46 mph and maybe less total weight so it seems very close. The ram was loud and maybe 3rd gear would be loud on any engine.

Was this test the first time for towing 2 trailers?? I can't remember seeing this on other trucks.

Seems to me the Canadian test of the three 1 tons last month put the duramax on top in many areas. This surprised the panel since the duramax had much lower power numbers. Yeah !! that's right !

At 4:30 he starts to mention the Ram is rated for 30K+ and that its already struggling with 17K! One other thing you really notice in this video is all the noise that thing makes, WOW!
