2016, 3500 Ram long box. Replace drive shaft with one piece?
Under load considerable shudder. I think steady bearing going. Steady Chirping sound comes and goes with throttle.

Go to these forums and search. Plenty of info on what you are asking. - How many miles on the gear oil...? Could be the rear end..... I had a slight shudder, carrier was fine, changed the gear oil, nice and quiet.
Sam - If carrier is bad, replace the bearing. If you go with 1-piece, you will need heavier tube. More flex in u-joint will shorten life.
- Check your U-Joints
- It’s a pretty common mod, or used to be. I didn’t know they still were using some 2 piece shafts.
I did it on our 07 years ago. I didn’t have any extreme issues but being a stick shift, it tightened up the drivetrain considerably.
Worth it IMO
