2016 F150 XLT -- our new tow vehicle
1st -- shame on me for being at work and not able to post a pic!
Been months since I've posted...but we upgraded to a new left over 2016 F150 Crew Cab XLT 4x4 with tow pkge, trailer brake controller.
Here's the best part for us: Heavily discounted as its 2 model years old (though only 8 months old from its build date), and it had minor hail damage from a storm here in central IL (a lot of dealers are having hail sales). The hail damage has been fixed.
Plus, was able to get another 750 on top of it all after some Loooooong waits negotiating. Had my oldest daughter (14) with me, and I would tell her to expect long waits as they wanted my "invested" time to just make me buy it as they presented it. Additionally, the cherry on top was they are adding the factory tow mirrors to her. It's not like I stole it, its the most expensive vehicle i've ever owned...but feel better to get nearly 12k off MSRP all said and done.
Now....time to upgrade the trailer!
