Thanks everyone. I can't believe how quiet it is. And so quiet inside too. Can hardly wait to get the camper on it. We are selling the 2000, but keeping the 88 F250 with almost 300,000 on it now--good for going to the auctions I guess. The 2000 made it to Alaska twice, and we plan to go again next year. Just a tiny problem with 2000 F350 last year near Vail, CO, when the electronic part that delivers fuel decided to quit working, just like that. Had to be pulled on a chain for 10 miles to Gypsum. Got fixed by the greatest repair shop, Werks Auto. Had to stay overnight, camped in their lot, got THE best treatment, and here we are from Michigan, no less. We paid about what our own mechanic would have charged, in fact he thought we got it done cheaper than he could. Always an adventure.
