2016 Silverado 3500 - Ike Gauntlet Pull

GM makes a very good truck. Ive had very few problems with mine in spite of all the abuse that a masonry contractor can dish out , far more abuse than a weekend warrior would ever give it. I wouldnt hesitate to buy another GM gas or diesel.

Well said... Most of the Ram Mafia with the 6.7 cummins don't keep their trucks very long and they're lucky to get to 100k miles. Heck some don't even achieve 20k miles and they unload their truck.

That's good to hear. Are the pucks spread out like the Ram's or close together like Ford's? I didn't watch the video.

Let's see which one is at the top with million miles on the clock.

The senior hill climbs are scheduled there for the fall of 2016. Three 16-17 grand children have signed up to date with the their rice burners. Organizers stated that if they do not get at lease 6 entries, the event will be cancelled. Something sounds fishy with the whole deal. Chris

Dang!!! Chevy pulverized the Ram by 5 whole points!! Decimation to the nth degree...Wonder what fish was going for here...IF I don't own the Ram, Chevy would be thee only other vehicle I'd go back to,,,I mean, we had a 35 yr love affair:B..

There are so many variables as in the wind differences that day or the 3.73's VS 4.10's can perform differently at a certain grade.

The Exhaust braking They obviously have their computer set to downshift sooner than the RAM. Personally that is no way to descend a grade! Proper way is to choose the gear you would have come up the grade in and lock it in and set the cruise to 55 or so and enjoy the ride down.

Fact is GM has a good product but it is at it's design limits.

Here's the Ram Ike Guantlet pull for comparison, but I would have liked to see it pull it's full rating.
