Well I'm being told by the dealer that it looks totaled by the pics that I have sent him. I would rather not post them here until I get a definite answer from them and my insurance. I was just wondering which should I be hoping for. - kerrlakeRooExplorerWho was at fault? And my reason for asking is what was the deductable if your policy has to pay. Then you can make a better choice.

As lightly built as these things are long term durability would suffer, fit and finish, cabinets always closing right, water intrusion issues are all worries. Heck they are worries on a new trailer!

- korbeExplorerFor me, it depends on how happy I am with my current rig, out of pocket costs, and what can I get to replace the existing rig.
- rbpruExplorer III can honestly say that there is no way of knowing. I bought a 3 year old TT that was very lightly used. I figured it was used one season and the folks lost interest in it. I has been a great TT, and we have towed over 30,000 miles with in the three years we had it.
Over time I have noticed the some interesting things. The entire TT is heavily caulked with silicone, every seam, windows, doors, etc. The back of the TT has screws, up one side and across the top. There are screw holes where something like a back up camera was mounted.
At this point these are just interesting observations which do not seem to have had any impact on the TT. This may be the way the unit left the factory seven years ago or it may have been rolled in a tornado and repaired.
The point is, only you can judge the amount of damage and the cost to you to repair or replace.
I think most folks would rather scrap the unit and start fresh if they have a choice.
