- shaner82ExplorerI think what he's asking is whether it's generally better to have something totaled or repaired? Not whether his specific trailer should be totaled

you would be amazed at who monitors this forum.
Who monitors it that makes you fearful of posting photos? - trail-explorerExplorerWe are not insurance estimators, therefor we can't give you advice if it's totalled or not... Can't even give you advice on our opinion without seeing photos.
Posting them online has no bearing on what your dealer or your insurance company says or does. - FloridaReLoadedExplorer

You don't want to post photos of the damage but you want our opinion about whether it should be totaled? I'm scratching my head over that one.

So why don't you want to post any photos? Are you embarrassed about something?
I will post pictures in due time, you would be amazed at who monitors this forum. I have heard back from my dealer and YES it is totaled. Some here understood my question, others like you, it went over their head.
Why would I be embarrassed?
Sorry, I'm just not as smart as you. It wasn't that your question wasn't clear.
Others had no problem with it. - DallasSteveNomad II

Totaled is my hopes with a car, truck or TT involved in an accident where significant damage results. Hope your replacement is everything you want. - FloridaReLoadedExplorer

Not sure how much my insurance is going to pay for a totaled unit, I was wondering that myself. I have a 1K deductible, I do know that. I'll update when I hear back from my insurance company, they said give them 1 to 3 days to get back with me. So far they have been excellent!!!
Many things come into play...how bad, how much insurance going to pay...for a total or a repair...is there a good repair shop nearby? Do you like your trailer?
