2016 TT may be totaled

I think what he's asking is whether it's generally better to have something totaled or repaired? Not whether his specific trailer should be totaled

We are not insurance estimators, therefor we can't give you advice if it's totalled or not... Can't even give you advice on our opinion without seeing photos.

Posting them online has no bearing on what your dealer or your insurance company says or does.

Totaled is my hopes with a car, truck or TT involved in an accident where significant damage results. Hope your replacement is everything you want.

If an owner has a loan on it, he could potentially be upside down on the finances of it in a "totaled" situation, resulting in some out of pocket expense to cover that gap.

Not sure how much my insurance is going to pay for a totaled unit, I was wondering that myself. I have a 1K deductible, I do know that. I'll update when I hear back from my insurance company, they said give them 1 to 3 days to get back with me. So far they have been excellent!!!
