All the bs aside, the Eco boosts keep getting better! Just a flat out impressive drivetrain.
I'd love all the creature comforts, but it irritates me and my ocd when things don't work right and because of that I prefer more simplicity rather than fixing stuff or spending time going to the dealer......and money when out of warranty.
Time is the big thing....not enough of it for me.
Like last week, my old (2006) charger had been running too warm during our 2 day hot spell here, lol.
Has electric fans on the rad. Diagnosed the problem. Also found out there is a standing recall for this from years ago and my car fit the bill.
Looked at parts online.
My options were spend better part of a day going/ fighting for the recall, buy OE parts online for about $500 or run to Autozone, buy the whole assembly for $180.
2 hours later, the car had new autozone fan assembly and I was on to the next project.
