I have been thinking the same thing. The current crop of vehicles are not going to age well as the tech gets rapidly outdated. And unlike an A-Trac you won't be able to replace them easily.
Build your own instead of buying off the lot. Gives you choice to have them or not, unless you're ordering top tier equipment.
I have 300K+ on my '06 6.0PSD so I have no idea what you are talking about and know lots of guys with Cummins and Duramax units pushing the same or more. Seems to me these engines and trucks are only getting better.
Stock. Absolutely NOTHING special on it at all. No deletes(emission testing here), no upgraded head studs, no upgraded bypass filters. Stock.
