I don't think so. The 150 still wouldn't have the payload capacity of the 250.
The same factory that pumps out the 6.7L also makes the 4.4L V8, so there's a chance that it could make into the F-150. But Ford probably wouldn't do it since it could affect SD sales.
The torque of that small Lion V8 might be too much for the F150's tranny and rear axle though. Probably the diesel V6 would be ok.
For me a diesel would only make sense in an F150 with the HD Payload package with the heftier rear axle, springs, shocks, wheels and tires. - 3oaksExplorer

I remember reading an article a few years ago on how Ford, Delphi, and a few other makes were working on a GDCI engine. With the Ecoboost badge on the truck in the video makes me wonder if the next generation Ecoboost(or the generation after that) could be GDCI.
Had to look it up. More info
Seems like a long shot for Ford to be putting a Hyundai/Delphi engine into the F150. Didn't find anything more recent than Apr 2014 about this engine either.
Like others, my guess is it's the diesel "Lion".

We rented a Peugeot Mini-van in Ireland with a diesel Lyon with like a 1.9 L engine, strong little engine no issues getting up to speed even with van loaded fully with seven people. - Bionic_ManExplorer

I would think that the 3.2l diesel they use in the Transit is a more likely fit. But they will have to bump up the HP from the 185 in that application. - FlashmanExplorer III would look real careful at any Ford diesel!
Their rep is pretty spotted. - Community AlumniThe same factory that pumps out the 6.7L also makes the 4.4L V8, so there's a chance that it could make into the F-150. But Ford probably wouldn't do it since it could affect SD sales.
- brulazExplorerWikipedia also suggests that the Lion V8 might be the engine:
