Honestly I don't hate the new fords, but don't love them either. the only thing I have seen that I liked was the new dash and bigger sun roof, aside from that I will keep my antique 2016 model for a few more years.
What's funny to me is everyone around here that are ford freaks are raving about the new dash. Looks to me like ford just copied from ram. My 2013 had that same dash as does my 2016. Lol ford pushes that they went all aluminum to make lighter and stronger when they still have the heaviest truck of the three and just now caught up with the strength. Other than their dually they don't have any payload in their 350'system because of a pitiful gvwr.
Go back even further and you'll see that the 2010 ram interior looked very similar to Fords 2009 F150 dash.
Also Ford's F350 SRW now has a new and specific rear end and a different leaf pack than the F250.
As for interior, I got to drive a F150 Lariet for a day a few weeks ago and I was really impressed with the interior quality and seats. Going back into my 2012 Super Duty the next day felt/looked less refined. The Sync 3 system is first class. Having said that the seats in both trucks feel equally comfortable so that was a wash. The crew cab is a lot bigger on the new trucks as well.
When I get out of my wifes infinity and into my truck I feel like im stepping back in time, but im ok with that as I know it is still just a truck and meant to do truck things.
My truck does truck things too........ - transamz9Explorer

So what you are saying Fish is that the 2009 F150 copied the Rams dash too? The 2010 dash is the same as the 2006 dash in the HD trucks.
You said in an earlier post that they took the weight savings and reinvested it back into the other stuff. Makes no sense that they supposedly made a stronger truck but didn't give it the numbers to handle more than the older weaker truck. What gives?
Sounds to me like the only thing Ford is not playing catch up on is their sales but hey, McDonalds does good too. ;) - 2001400exExplorer

I'm like that with my wife's 15 Highlander. Until I step on the pedal. I have an 08 Duramax, while it's getting old looking inside, it still runs awesome. I actually want to wait another year or so as I feel the technology on the dash is just getting refined after a few years of sloppy software. - 1jeepExplorer II2017 and no it isn't that futuristic either!

Dang! What year is your wife's Infinti? My Wife has a 2014 QX70 and I feel like I am stepping forward in time when I get into my truck. The gauge cluster screen and center dash are much nicer in my truck than her SUV. - 1jeepExplorer II

Does anyone know if the new Powerstroke still uses the CP4.2? My brother's 2012 F350 is starting to show signs of pump failure with some hesitation on cold starts and wants to trade it in before it goes leaving him with a 10k repair. I think he will go back to the Cummins if they are still using the CP4.2.
Yep. GM switched to a different unit but Ford stuck with the grenade style pump. - ShinerBockExplorerDoes anyone know if the new Powerstroke still uses the CP4.2? The complaint I have with my 2016 dash is I feel the storage door on top sort of cheapens the look, my 2011 never had that.
F350srw gvwr is 11500, I didn't realize any of the other 2 brands were higher.
