Very true, and while the upfitter switches can be added after delivery, there's more than just the four-switch module that you have to purchase. There's also a wire harness that goes with it. Cheaper to order them up front rather than after the fact.
With the upfitter switches and a description of the firewall pass-through wires, it's very easy to add electrical accessories outside of the truck cab.
Also, if the sat-radio/GPS antenna is still on top of the cab between the clearance lights, you'll need to purchase another antenna and antenna wire so you can mount it somewhere that won't be blocked by the camper. I put mine at the base of the windshield on the drivers side.
