That was just the 2 second lag with the dead pedal!
In the '14 I had, if you didn't take off right, you could mash the pedal, hop out, grab a quick cup of coffee and be back in time to take off!
I got to hand it to the lesser 2 brands....they'll win stoplight drag races and Street Outlaws episodes all day long and twice on Sundays!

Since he already had the engine spooled up and was braking it before starting, wouldn't that eliminate the dead pedal?
Yes.... A spooled up turbo will eliminate the dead pedal issue
