Not sure what the purpose is to do testing like that, how about testing for haul stability, downhill braking, emergency braking and possibly uphill towing performance as far as tranny down shifting/up shifting and things that really matter for towing when buying a truck.
My 05 Super Duty had 325hp and my 12 has 400hp and would literally whip my old 05 in a 0-60 speed test. Having said that another benefit is that my '12 tows the same loads so much better and easier.
