The production start July 11 2017 in Kentucky.
Is Ford taking orders for 2017 F-350 DRWs yet?
If so, does anyone have one on order?
Yes they're taking orders now. There's a thread over at fte with quite a few who have trucks on order and can't sleep at night they're so excited.- BradWExplorer II

I see you can now opt to delete the carpet on the high end '17 Super Duty's. Also for the people who own and enjoy the large cab of the current Super Duty the new one maintains the deep window sills which works great as a arm rest.

So Ford once again is catching up with Ram? You have been able to delete the carpet on the Ram high trim models for a few years now. I use my arm rest for arm rest. LOL Large cab? HAHAHA!!Funny.:B (insert stir the pot smiley here)
Honestly, I really like the F150's. If the SD is just like them they are going to be nice.........although still a little cab.:B
The typical arm rest is too low for me and that's why I like to use the window sill instead and the super duty has a large one and it works great. On the carpet delete ford offered that years ago but I guess stopped offering some time ago.
My 06 F350's window sill is just as high as my Rams but I do like the way it drops down in the front by the mirrors. Allows me to see the ground close to the front wheel without rolling the window down.
I'm not talking the height but the depth of the window sill. On theSD it's like 3" deep and the ram is around 1.5" deep
Well that's strange. I just measured mine at 2 1/2" with the window closed. I'll have to measure my F350 in the morning. I never really paid it no attention. I ride with my arm up there too. transamz9 wrote:

The new cab has tons of room for the rear passengers and the floor is completely flat, very nice. I am sure the truck will be capable, strong and nice looking. That being said, I just traded my 14 Ram 2500 for a 16 3500 for the extra towing capacity. I don't see going back to a Ford truck anytime soon.
